Welcome to my language arts class! I am so excited to embark on this new learning adventure with each and every one of you. This year, my number one goal is for each of you to become the best reader and writer that you can be. Your key to personal success lies in your attitude and willingness to learn. I know you are all ready to rock ‘n roll!
On this blog site, you will find upcoming events, announcements, and daily homework assignments posted. This site will also serve as a way for us to communicate outside of school about the things we are doing in the classroom. Feel free to post any questions, comments, or concerns that you may have and I will respond as soon as possible. Take some time and check out the different areas of the blog.
Together, we can make your goals a reality. Get set to soar to higher heights in reading and writing than you ever thought possible!

HI!!! its lauren! you know, from 3rd core… last year. i miss sixth grade! but on the other hand i like 7th grade… but its so weird not doing my daily routine and goofin off in the hallways on the way to language arts with blake, and then a little goofin off in language arts… anyway, ms curley is my homeroom teacher, and its really weird goin to language arts 1st core… but blake and michaila b are in my homeroom, so im havin fun… anyway, just thought that id give you a…very long…heads up! goodbye from 7th grade… ahh! its weird!

And I saw the question about which EOG is the hardest: take it from a 7th grader (been there, done that) that the math calculator inactive is probably the hardest. I had fun in class today. I might read “Things Not Seen” By Andrew Clements when I finish “Things Hoped For.”
I love his books ever since I read his book,”Room One.”
It only took me 3 days to read “Room One.” It was so good I didn’t want to put it down.
